Right, this is by no means a definitive list at all but will give you a bit of an idea of some of the sites out there:

http://www.scubastore.com

Based in Spain delivery takes anywhere from 2 days to a week (depending on the amount of gear ordered). You pay for delivery with these so it's best to buy a few items rather than one. Prices are pretty good on most items.

https://ssl.utvinternet.com/aquaholics/dive_Shop.asp

This is Aquaholics based up the north. Delivery is free (and next day!). If a few of you get together you should be able to get a deal, ask for Richard.

http://www.sdswatersports.co.uk/

This is the crows that Aoife Dubh deals with in the UK. They will do discounts for bulk. If you want more info then talk to her. She has a contact in the shop.

http://www.divertec.net/

Should any of you feel the need to run out and buy a VR3 or other such tasty gear then Barry from Diver Tec does by far and away the best prices . And he'll happily show you how to use it to boot!

Shamelessly stolen from a training handout done by Mr. Andrews:
‘Local’ dive shops:

Ocean Divers (Willie Siddall & Brian Murphy), c/o The Youth Sailing Club, (the building attached to the INSS, West Pier, Dun Laoghaire). Great for wet suit, etc. rental if you use my name as a reference.

Flagship Scuba (Rory Golden), Grand Canal Basin, South Dock Road, D4. Tel. 667 0988. http://www.flagshipscuba.com Full dive shop for purchase of new & some secondhand gear. Air fills. They do bundle packs too. Apex agent. Not open Monday - but open Saturday till 5:30pm I think.

Great Outdoors, 3 Clarenden Market, (near original Chatham St. shop), Dublin 2. Tel. 6727154. Full dive shop for purchase of gear. Air fills. They may do bundle packs too. Scubapro agent. http://www.greatoutdoors.ie

FirstStage Diving (Kevin Seagrave), Unit 6, Dunshaughlin Business Park, Dunshaughlin, Co. Meath. Tel 01 8011660. http://www.firststagediving.com Full dive shop for purchase of new & some secondhand gear. Air fills. They do bulk buy packs, but maybe only for groups of 6.

Divers Warehouse (the UK one) seem to have good prices but delivery is extra.

Go Dive – another UK based seller.

As far as I know - First stage diving (mentioned above) are not open for business any more.

I have heard good news about a new dive shop outside Dublin... however, I have had no direct contact with them myself.

Got a mail from Joe Hyland on the site, he's set up a site for second hand dive gear sales in Ireland:
